Thank you for your email.

Kindly supply a full name and physical address for correspondence. You have
not done so, and will have to do so if you are to make an appeal to the
Information Commissioner. I am awaiting this in order to release the
information requested to you.

I do no know if R Soles is a pseudonym or a shortened version of a name, but
it does not constitute a full name.

Dear McCabe-Daly, Derrick,

Please refer to email of 11th March 2009.

Your lack of direct response seems to show your
Corporation/Organisation (paid for by the public) may have
something to hide , especially
since this has already been tested elsewhere, with no problems.

Yours sincerely,

R Soles

R Soles

By tested I assume you are referring to the ICO's advice:

[1]http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/01/14/...

and

[2]http://www.ico.gov.uk/upload/documents/p...

You are correct in stating that we are a public body and therefore
accountable. As every FOI request incurs a cost I am sure you will agree
that the taxpayer is entitled to know who is incurring that cost.

We regularly receive requests from journalist, pressure groups and
individuals who are more than happy to use a valid email address and even
provide, a physical address and a genuine name as part of the initial
request.

I have asked you for a valid email address, or a valid name, a physical
address. When you comply we will release the information you have
requested. As you have nothing to hide I can see no reason why you cannot
respond positively.

I look forward to receiving a valid address with a valid name from you.

Regards

Derrick McCabe-Daly

Dear McCabe-Daly, Derrick,

Please refer to the FOI regulations for guidance;
a valid name and an acceptable
email address being provided as required via FOI guidance.(also
available via this site)

Clearly the Tax Payer's are entitled to know what costs have been
incurred by any public body, including yours.

Hopefully, if there is nothing to hide, I can see no reason why you
cannot respond
positively to the original request.

And look forward to receiving a valid response to a public FOI
request.

Regards

R Soles
