Dear Sir or Madam,
Please provide information on action taken by the Commissioner on
the Mosquito Anti Teen Device to include:
1. Copies of all correspondence with Ministers and departmental
officials, MPs, Police etc and their replies
2. Number of complaints received by the Commissioner:
a. from children
b. from parents
c. from organisations
d. from others
3. Details of any legal action contemplated by the Commissioner or
reasons for not taking such action(s)
4. Number of media reports logged by the Commissioner
a. from national media
b. from local/regional media
5. Copies of any correspondence with manufacturer, providers of
Device and their replies, if any
6. Provide report(s) on the Buzz Off! campaign
Has the Commissioner sought to take legal action on the grounds of
breaches of Articles 3, 6.1, 8, 11, 13 and 14? If not, why not?
Will the Commissioner please consider doing so, on the basis that
government and law enforcement have a clear duty to defend and to
enforce the right of people going lawfully about their business to
do so without unlawful activity aimed at dispersing them from
places they have a right to be?
What is the Commissioner's response to calls for the post and
office to be abolished?
What contact does the Commissioner maintain with the Equalities
Commission?

Mosquito Device.
11 MILLION worked with children and young people on the Buzz Off
campaign during 2008. Not all of the information that you request under
the Freedom of Information Act is available to us, nor is all of it
covered by the Act.
