FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST
I acknowledge your request for further information regarding Leicester
City Council’s “Commercial Standing” received on 08/12/08. Your
request is being considered and you will receive the information
requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days from the
first working day following the date of receipt, which is 09/01/09, as
defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Information is usually
provided in paper copy form. If you require alternative formats, e.g.
language, audio, large print, etc. then please let me know.
For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions that may
prevent release of the information you have requested. There will be an
assessment and if any of the exemption categories apply then the
information specifically covered by the exemption will not be released,
but any other information held that is relevant to your request will be
released.
If the information you request contains reference to a third party then
they may be consulted prior to a decision being taken on whether or not
to release the information to you. You will be informed if this is the
case.
A fee maybe payable for this information. You will be informed if a fee
is payable and, in this event, the fee must be paid before the
information is processed and released. The 20 working day time limit for
responses will be suspended until receipt of the payment. Please be
aware that if payment is not received within 3 calendar months of the
date of this letter, your request will be closed and you will have to
re-apply for the information should you still want it.
