Closure of Newbridge Lane, Wisbech

Robert Goodwin made this Freedom of Information request to Cambridgeshire County Council

The request was successful.

From: Robert Goodwin

20 April 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have a question regarding a road closure in the Wisbech area:-

The section of Newbridge Lane leading south from the A47 Wisbech
by-pass adjacent to the Fenland District Council travellers site
and joining the Elm/Begdale road appears to be permanently blocked
at one end by mounds of earth and rubbish, and at the other end by
a steel gate.

Could you please tell me the current legal status of this section
of highway.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Goodwin
