You need to make a FOI specifically asking what the current regulations are in relation to claiming for a tax allowance against your personal tax liability when a person is:

a) A self employed person

b) An employed person (On a PAYE scheme)

and

c) Is a Member of Parliament defined as:

i) An employed person

or

ii) A self employed person

and

d) What special tax dispensations or allowance do Members of Parliament enjoy or receive compared to:

i) A self employed person

and

ii) An employed person
