Dear Sir or Madam,

Please provide a copy of all guidance provided by the LGOs / CLAE
to CIPFA and/or s151 officers of Council's and/or Audit Commission
and/or District Auditors of Councils to ensure that there has been
compliance with LGO's recommendations and any agreements made prior
to issue of a formal report (ie local settlements and MI reports)..
and reporting by CIPFA members of any failure of local government
to follow the recommendations in any auditors report and/or
governance statement of an audited body.

The CLAE are fortunate to have a Council member of CIPFA also as an
LGO.. so this information should be readily available.. as the
lacuna in regulation is highly apparent and has doubtless been
raised formally by the CLAE as a consequence (eg triennial review)
