Under the terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002,
please supply me with the following information for your Local
Authority area:
1. The total number of children who are currently on the Child
Protection 'At Risk' Register.
2. The number of children of compulsory school age who are
currently on the Child Protection 'At Risk' Register.
3. The total number of electively home educated children.
4. The number of electively home educated children who are
currently on the Child Protection 'At Risk' Register.
5. The number of electively home educated children who are known to
have been subject to abuse, neglect, forced marriage, sexual
exploitation or domestic servitude.
6. The number of electively home educated children who are
suspected to have been subject to abuse, neglect, forced marriage,
sexual exploitation or domestic servitude and who have been
referred to services.
7. The number (if any) of Significant Case Reviews which have
involved electively home educated children.

Request for Information
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
I write with reference to your request for information received by the
Comhairle on 11 July 2009, I note the terms of your request to receive the
following information:
1. The total number of children who are currently on the Child Protection
'At Risk' Register.
There are fifteen children currently on the Child Protection `At Risk'
Register.
2. The number of children of compulsory school age who are currently on
the Child Protection 'At Risk' Register.
There are eight children of compulsory school age currently on the Child
Protection `At Risk' Register.
3. The total number of electively home educated children.
There are nine children electively home educated.
4. The number of electively home educated children who are currently on
the Child Protection 'At Risk' Register.
There are no electively home educated children on the Child Protection `At
Risk' Register.
5. The number of electively home educated children who are known to have
been subject to abuse, neglect, forced marriage, sexual exploitation or
domestic servitude.
Nil
6. The number of electively home educated children who are suspected to
have been subject to abuse, neglect, forced marriage, sexual exploitation
or domestic servitude and who have been referred to services.
Nil
7. The number (if any) of Significant Case Reviews which have involved
electively home educated children.
There are no Significant Case Reviews involving electively home educated
children.

whether your request for information has been processed in accordance with
