Dear Sir or Madam,
Your ref: FOI 2802
Thanks for providing the information requested.
However, I requested the information in the original format such as
MS Word, can you resend the information in MS Word. The meta data
of the information you sent indicated you have unfortunately
converted then to PDF today at about 18:30. This makes it quite
difficult to use a Screen Reader.

Dear J Cassidy
My apologies for missing that part - we normally automatically convert
to PDF as it is cross platform and available free and my understanding was
that accessibility issues had been satisfactorily addressed by Adobe.
I have attached the original Word documents, except for the Phil Woolas
ltr.PDF as that is all I have it in. On this occasion, I am willing to
have it converted it to MS Word if you would like me to.
Please note though, these documents are as they were passed to me and I
have no idea whether they have been converted from their original format
or that any metadata refers to any original author, date etc.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thanks, it is true the PDFs can be considered cross platform, but
from a Screen Reader point of view they are far from second best.
But I do appreciate the speed of your response, as ever Leeds
Council, seems to have a quite a positive mindset to information
requests and how they are dealt with. So please accept my
compliments for all your efforts and those of your colleagues.
Yours sincerely,
Cassidy, J
