Dear Mr Clark

We write further to your recent request to obtain the number of people who
received any chemotherapy at this Trust in 2008.

May we advise that to provide the information you requested will take in
excess of 18 hours to collate and therefore, in accordance with Sections 12
& 13 of the Freedom of Information Act we can confirm that we hold this
information. However, as explained, to collate the data you require will
extend beyond 18 hours. Therefore, a charge of £450.00 would be applicable
for the work involved.

However, the Deputy Director of Pharmacy has informed us that we can more
easily provide the number of doses of IV chemotherapy dispensed and the
number of transactions (which means prescriptions we have handled) for
other routes of chemotherapy in 2008.

Would it be possible for you to confirm if the second option is acceptable
to you and we will expedite your request.

Alternatively. let us know if you wish to pay the applicable fee to receive
the information in the format that you originally requested.
