The Chemistry Club organised security briefing at New Scotland Yard
for the London 2012 Olympics as noted here

Can you please tell me how many was held and when. A list of who
attended these briefings and confirmation that a security check was
done on all those attending. Can I also have details on how much it
cost NSY to hold and perform the briefing and if any payment was
made by The Chemistry Club to NSY.

Are you unhappy with how your request has been handled or do you think

You have the right to require the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to
review their decision.

Prior to lodging a formal complaint you are welcome and encouraged to
discuss the decision with the case officer that dealt with your
request.  

Ask to have the decision looked at again –

The quickest and easiest way to have the decision looked at again is
to telephone the case officer that is nominated at the end of your
decision letter.

That person will be able to discuss the decision, explain any issues
and assist with any problems.

Complaint

If you are dissatisfied with the handling procedures or the decision
of the MPS made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act)
regarding access to information you can lodge a complaint with the MPS
to have the decision reviewed.

Complaints should be made in writing, within forty (40) working days
from the date of the refusal notice, and addressed to:

EXTENT OF SEARCHES TO LOCATE INFORMATION

 

To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted
at in the Olympic and Paralympic Policing Coordination Team,  Financial
Services, Directorate of Information, Directorate of Resources and
Specialist Operations.     

 

RESULT OF SEARCHES AND RESPONSE   

 

The searches failed to locate any information relevant to your request,
therefore, the information you have requested is not held by the MPS.

 

Under section 16 of the Act it is the duty of public authorities to
provide advice and assistance, so far as it would be reasonable to expect
the authority to do so, to persons who have made requests for
information.  I would like to assist you with your request by confirming
that there is no account set up for The Chemistry Club within Financial
Services - so no payment or invoice has ever been received or raised.

We have been made aware by The Chemistry Club that the event you refer to
took place on November 7th, 2007.

With regards to the other elements of your request we have been unable to
locate any information that is relevant and we hold no further
information.
