Charity Groups Involving Councillors

Mr Hall made this Freedom of Information request to Colwyn Bay Town Council / Cyngor Tref Bae Colwyn

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Colwyn Bay Town Council / Cyngor Tref Bae Colwyn should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please provide a list of all charity groups / voluntary bodies /
businesses or similar that Cllr Chris Hughes has any interest in
that may need to be declared during council meetings - such as by
him being on a committee, or being a trustee, a governor, a
director or similar. If there is already a published list of
councillors' interests which includes Mr Hughes, a copy of that or
a link to it on the council's website would do. Please only respond
to this request online

Yours faithfully,

Mr Hall

The Friends of the Pier group have formally written to Cllr Chris Hughes asking him to clarify whether or not he considers he is still Chairman of the group - since no resignation has ever been tendered by him. He sits on various committees in which this interest would have to be declared.
