Dear University of Edinburgh,

I would like to request the following information under the
provisions of the Freedom of Information Act:

1) The proportion of the University of Edinburgh's revenue which
was spent on charitable activities in the most recent financial
year for which information is available, excluding the provision of
privately or publicly contracted services (such as tuition or
research) for which the university received payment from the party
for whose benefit the services were provided.

2) a) The proportion of the 2006 intake of undergraduate students
who attended a state school prior to attending the University of
Edinburgh;

b) The proportion of the 2006 intake of undergraduate students who
attended a private or fee-paying school prior to attending the
University of Edinburgh.

3) a) The proportion of the state school 2006 intake who have since
graduated with first class honours;

b) The proportion of the private school 2006 intake who have since
graduated with first class honours.
