I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information regarding
information held by the Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. Please find herewith the following answers to your
request:

Please could you advise on the entry charge being currently made to enter
all parks within Birmingham if using a car?
Answer :The only park doing this is Sutton Park. For Summer Sundays and
bank holidays between 11am and 6 pm a fee of **1.50 is charged (with
exceptions for blue badge holders and customers of businesses beyond the
park gates)
Could you further advise how many parks within Birmingham are currently
charging an entry fee?
Answer : The only park as stated above is Sutton Park
Who administers the fee and where is this spent in relation to the budget
set for parks by Birmingham City Council?

Answer : The fee is set along with other charges for Birmingham City
Council parks and leisure services at "cabinet level". The fee is
collected locally by park staff and contracted employees. The surplus
generated after operating costs is re-invested within Sutton Park.
