a) The sum in total, if any, spent on maps, map procurement,
processing and distribution on-line and in paper form during either
financial or calendar year 2006;

b) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) spent
on licenses or other fees to Ordnance Survey;

c) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (a) which
was paid for by council tax;

d) the proportion or absolute amount, if any, of the sum (c) broken
down in to council tax house bands on a per-household basis.

This is our response to your recent FOI request.

a) We would have made use of and published via our web facing GIS Ordnance Survey based mapping products that are available to us as part of the Mapping Services Agreement (MSA), an agreement that local authorities entered into with Ordnance Survey in order to make use of their mapping products.

b) For the financial year 2006/2007 the fee that we paid to Ordnance Survey under the Mapping Services Agreement was £50,131.89
