Chalftont Drive Bunker

Mr Porter made this Freedom of Information request to Nottingham City Council

Nottingham City Council did not have the information requested.

From: Mr Porter

15 December 2011

Dear Nottingham City Council,

I am writing to request information concerning the nuclear bunker
in Chalfont Drive, Aspley, Nottingham.

Would it be possible for you to provide me with information such as
plans for the bunker or surveys which you may have taken out
concerning it's future.

I believe there is a PDF document somewhere on the web concerning
plans on what will happen to the bunker, however I would appreciate
it if you could send me quite a bit of information concerning (cost
of maintenence/build plans/surveys that may have been taken out/or
just any records concerning the bunker). Just one of these would be
appreciated, however if you could send me quite a bit of
information I would be greatful.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Porter

There is some information on the Council's planning website, eg this 2008 application for works to the listed building: http://bit.ly/rAMxxP

If you go here: http://plan4.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/WAM/p... - there are several planning applications with information about the bunker and plans for its future.

There is a detailed description of the place on Subbrit: http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/sites/n/no...
