Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),
Please supply the CCTV/crime statistics supplied to the Daily
Telegraph that were the basis of their article 'Number of crimes
caught on CCTV falls by 70 per cent, Metropolitan Police admits',
Daily Telegraph 5/1/2010.
The article indicates that the statistics included:
- the number of crimes "in which CCTV was involved"
- the number of these crimes which resulted in a charge, summons
or caution
The article stated that the statistics related to several years,
possibly 2003/4 - 2008/8.
