The request was successful.

From: mikelides

3 November 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

i would be grateful if you could let me know if there are any cctv
cameras located along highbury grove and close to Aberdeen lane(N5
2EJ). and if there are any cameras on highbury grove at which
locations.

I was involved in a hit and run accident
which occurred on or about 9.50 to 10am on 28th of October 2009, as
I was cycling down highbury grove a light silver car came out from
a side street, hit me and accelerated fast down highbury grove.
so it is vital for me to find out if there is any recording/
footage of the incident. if there are CCTV cameras or traffic speed
cameras on highbury grove who and how can someone access this
information?

thank you for your attention.
Yours faithfully,

Mrs Mikelides

Dear Mrs Mikelides

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request with regards to
obtaining CCTV footage from us.

Firstly, may I say that it must be a terrible shock being involved in a
hit and run, and I do hope you have made a full recovery.

It is with regret that I have to advise you that we do not have CCTV
footage of the incident. I do apologise for any inconvenience this may
cause.

Regards

Michael Traill left an annotation (28 December 2009)

I have marked this as successful as it appears to answer the underlaying question being asked by the requester.

However, technically it doesnt answer the question which was are there any cameras in an area, not was the footage captured on camera.
