Further to my acknowledgement of your request, I have now received some
information from the relevant officers of the Authority. I can confirm we
do hold some of the information requested but require clarification on the
second part of your request.

You asked:
1) The R&CBC CCTV Procedural Manual referenced in the R&CBC CCTV
Code of Practice (Nov. 2006).
Please find attached below a redacted version of the CCTV Procedure
Manual. You have previously requested, and been refused, details of the
location of each of our CCTV cameras. This exempt information is also
contained in this internal procedure manual and the specific information
on the location of the cameras has therefore been removed.

We have explained to you why we believe this information is exempt from
disclosure under Sections 38 and 31 of the FOIA and this refusal has also
been subject to an internal review. The public interest test has also
already been applied.

2) The CCTV section of the last R&CBC Annual Report.

I have been asked by the Head of Community Protection to seek
clarification on what you mean by Annual report. The Corporate Plan is
available on our website as is the annual monitoring report and the annual
audit and inspection letters. In order for us to conduct a search, we need
clarification please on the information you believe to be held.

I hope that this satisfies your request for information. If you are not
satisfied with how your request has been dealt with then you are free to
make a complaint either to the Council or to the Information Commissioner.
You will find details of the complaints procedure on the Council's Website
at
http://www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/YrCou...
(alternatively by using the A-Z Index from the home page). The Information
Commissioner is an independent person who has responsibility for
overseeing the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act
2000. More details can be obtained from the Information Commissioner’s
website at www.ico.gov.uk .

Should you have any queries about this matter please don’t hesitate to
contact me.
