Dear Mrs Cook
Please see below response to your recent request for
information iw11/2/19180 .
The answer has been given below as indicated at the end of the question.
Details: How much do you spend on CCTV (outside public facing & inside
buildings) on the island per year?
The CCTV control room, of which monitors 5 different town centres and
various other sites on the island, but not schools or other public
buildings which have their own integrated CCTV systems which are
individually managed, costs £251,962 per annum.
Details of school costs or individual public buildings that are not
monitored by the CCTV Control room would have to be made directly to those
responsible.
I believe that this letter deals partly with all the matters you have

Dear Isle of Wight Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Isle of Wight
Council's handling of my FOI request 'CCTV'.
You appear to be under the impression that I had made a request to
the CCTV Control room, I hadn't, I made a request to the Isle Of
Wight Council. Therefore I have no intention of making requests
directly to individual public buildings when it is up to the Isle
Of Wight Council to supply that information for public building
which come under the Council. Please supply the information without
further delay.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is
available on the Internet at this address:
