Dear Sir

I refer to your request for information in which you asked us to provide
written evidence of the law that requires flesh and blood human beings to
pay council tax.

The Freedom of Information Act obliges a public authority to provide
information it holds in recorded form to a requester at the time a request
is received subject to the application of any exemption and payment of any
necessary fee.

We hold no recorded information constituting the law requiring payment of
council tax and governing prosecutions for non-payment of council tax
other than
the statutes and Acts to which you refer, together with related secondary
legislation. We are therefore unable to comply with your request.

Your faithfully
Information Rights Officer
