Under the Freedom of Information right, Can i request the manual
case worker(Visa officer) uses while dealing with ILR application
in Work Permit and Tier2(General) categories application please ?
This is for my guidance purposes.

Also please let me know if this is different for personal PEO and
postal applications.

Dear Deep,

Thank you for your enquiry of 26 February in which you have requested a
copy of the caseworker manual/guidance caseworkers (Visa officer) use
while dealing with ILR application in Work Permit and Tier2 (General)
categories application.

I am unclear about the exact scope of the information in which you are
interested. Section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act provides that
a public authority need not comply with a request for information unless
any further information reasonably required to identify and locate the
information is supplied. I am unclear about the exact scope of the
information in which you are interested. To ensure that we provide you
with the right information, please could you clarify your request, so
that we can process your request.

The guidance caseworkers use is published on the UK Border Agency
website and any additional guidance is added to the website regularly. I
am currently unclear about the exact scope of the information your

Can you please confirm whether you require additional information and,
if so, the exact information you require.

Dear Employment, Freedom of Information,

Thank you very much for you recent reply..
To clarify my request,I was looking the for set
instructions case worker follow while he/she has to approve the
application.for example
* what supporting documents required
* and what alternate documents are provided in absence of certain
documents
* When case worker request additional documents
* When case worker thinks that more verification is required before
approval

*what kind of security/background and checks are made

Hope i am able to clarify on further information you asked for.
Please feel free to contact if you think you need more
clarification from me before you decide.
