Case Resolution Exercise Decisions
Lisa Marie Baptiste made this Freedom of Information request to UK Border Agency
The request was refused by UK Border Agency.
From: Lisa Marie Baptiste
21 January 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to request the published time frames for deciding
cases under the case resolution exercise where photographs &
further information have been requested with the view to making a
decision. In October, my partner received a letter requesting for 4
passport photographs & further information with the view to making
a decision on her case. Four months later that decision has not
been forthcoming & whereas before she had a named caseworker
dealing with her case, this has been reallocated & her file placed
in storage. What was the point of reallocating cases that were on
the verge of being decided & putting them back in storage? How long
do caseworker have to make a decision & inform the applicant after
they've requested photos and additional information & where they
have indicated they are currently working on the case?
Yours faithfully,
Lisa Marie Baptiste
