Dear Sir/Madam
Freedom of Information Request
Thank you for your e-mail received on 12 May 2009 regarding the above.
In response to your request please find attached a list detailing the
parking bay allocation within Edinburgh's Controlled Parking Zones. The
following should also be noted:
Public = Pay and Display bay
Shared = Pay and Display or Permit Holder (relevant zone)
Resident = Permit Holder only (relevant zone)
I have also attached a list of the limited waiting (free) car park spaces
which are located outwith the controlled parking zones.
Please note that Edinburgh Council do not operate any off street car
parks. However we do have some data regarding parking space allocation
within car parks in Edinburgh and I have attached this for your perusal.
You may wish to contact the car park operators directly to ensure accuracy
of information.
Note: if you are not happy with this response, or want to complain about
the way in which we handled your application, please write to the Director
of Corporate Services, Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh,
