Cannabis arrests and prosecutions

I acknowledge receipt of your email received on 07/12/2011 requesting the
following information; 

 

I would like to request information detailing how many people have been
arrested for possession of cannabis within North Wales, by year and by
county, in the last ten years.

    

I would also like to know how many of these arrests led to a successful
prosecution, and if possible, how many resulted in a prison sentence.

 

As set out by the Freedom of Information Act, it will be our aim to
respond to your request by 09/01/2012. In some cases, however, we may be
unable to achieve this deadline. If this occurs, we will advise you of the
likely timescale within which the response will be provided.
