Camden Traffic Contravention Images
Mr Slatter made this Freedom of Information request to Camden Borough Council
The request was successful.
From: Mr Slatter
16 February 2011
Dear Camden Borough Council,
Please can you confirm if you have a policy in place regarding the
collation of traffic contravention images.
If you do not have a specific policy, or if the policy does not
distinctively cover the below questions, please can you let me know
the following;
Do you keep a copy of each and every image taken, irrespective of
what the subject matter shows?
Are the images numbered/named automatically by the camera(s) when
they are taken, or are they manually given a unique id when loaded
into your system?
If it is the latter, do you keep a copy of the photo(s) with the
original numbering system, as well as the time and date that the
photo is taken and which officer took it?
What checks are in place to ensure that every photo taken is loaded
into your system?
What other data is collated for each image?
Yours faithfully,
Mr Slatter
