Dear Cambridgeshire County Council,
A draft report titled : "Cambridgeshire Strategic Assessment 2011,
An analysis of community safety issues" was presented to the
Interim Community Safety Countywide Board on the 24th of November
2011.
Page 14 of this document includes Chart 5: Cambridgeshire wards:
Relative deprivation and crime rates
Could you please release the raw data displayed on this chart,
including the ward name corresponding to each row of data.
Only selected points have been labelled on the chart, the
additional information not already accessible to me which I am
seeking is the identity of the wards the unlabelled points
correspond to.
The lead authors of the report are listed as Leigh Roberts and
Michael Soper who I believe are council officers.

These may be the very rural areas; or it may be that there are lessons to be learnt from these areas which can be applied to those high deprivation areas where crime is also high.
The data will also reveal wealthy areas of the county where there are low crime levels.
