I would like to make a request for the release of the latest
edition of the council's staff newsletter.

I would prefer my request to be met by the council making the staff
newsletter available, in PDF format, on the council's public
website. I would like to suggest that future editions of the
newsletter be routinely made publically available at the time they
are produced.

At a recent council committee meeting it was reported that the staff newsletter was now being electronically distributed to councillors to help keep them informed about what was going on in the council.

It was also reported that the newsletter contains summaries of the results of audits into the council's performance providing services in cases where the auditors are only able to give a rating of "no assurance" or "limited assurance".
