Cafcass and Common Purpose

C. Smith-Byrne made this Freedom of Information request to Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service

The request was successful.

From: C. Smith-Byrne

6 July 2011

Dear Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service,

This FOI request referring to the charity "Common Purpose" (meaning
the training organisation of that name:
http://www.commonpurpose.org/home.aspx) has been made by other
citizens on this site in the past, but has - to my knowledge - not
been updated recently. My request today is therefore:

On a yearly basis from 2000 onwards (unless of course money was
paid to Common Purpose from an earlier period, in which case please
include information from the earlier period):
1. Name all employees who have attended a Common Purpose course.
2. How much money has been paid to this organisation?
3. Please provide copies of invoices/receipts.

Could you please update your answer to this request including the
years 2009, 2010 and the first six months of 2011. Could you please
also include the CEO of Cafcass, Anthony Douglas, and split the
number of employees according to county of registration.

If one of your employees attends courses by this charity privately,
does he/she have a duty to declare this to his/her employer?

Yours faithfully,

C. Smith-Byrne
