Dear Sir or Madam,
Would you please provide for me under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 information to the following questions.
Having read in the newspapers a few years ago about Project George,
they asked whether it was named after U.S President George W Bush,
I believe it was named after George Downing.
Project George was to do with the refurbishment and redevelopment
of Downing Street how much did this two year Project cost even
though it was cancelled?
Please list all consultants and consultancy companies that were
used?
What was the final cost of these consultants and consultancy
companies to the Government?
Why did the Prime Minister Gordon Brown cancel Project George?
There was a Project George Reception held at Admiralty House on the
23 June 2006 was this in celebration of the cancelling of Project
George?
How much did the Project George Reception held on the 23 June 2006
at Admiralty house cost and who paid the final invoice for this
reception?
What awards were given out and who won the awards at the Project
George reception on the 23 June 2006 held at Admiralty House?
Why were awards given out to a cancelled Project George and who
paid for these awards and what were the cost of these awards?
Who authorised the Project George Reception on the 23 June 2006
held at Admiralty House?
