Dear Ms Howitt,

Further to your Freedom of Information request received by Braintree
District Council, I write to advise that the Council holds the following
information in respect of your request. For ease of reference your request
is repeated below followed by the Council's reply.

"Please provide the following information in respect of the properties
listed below/in the attached list for the period 1/4/2000-31/3/2005;
The ratepayer name(s) if the ratepayer was/is a limited company

The period for which each ratepayer is liable for business rates at the
property: CRITTALL WINDOWS LTD VACANT OFFICE (B & D), SPRINGWOOD DRIVE,
BRAINTREE, ESSEX CM7 2YN "
The Council records show the following:

For the five year period in question, any liability that arose was billed
only to Crittall Windows Limited.

From 1/4/2000 to 25/5/2001 there was an `Occupied Part Crittall Windows,
Springwood Drive' and an `Unoccupied Part Crittall Windows, Springwood
Drive'.

From 26/5/2001 to 31/3/2005 it was all known as `Former Crittall Windows,
Springwood Drive'

The detail description for the five year period is `Factory and Premises'.

The Council considered that it was able to disclose this information in
accordance with your request as it does not disclose personal information
and not exempt from disclosure under the provisions of the Data Protection
Act.

If you disagree with the Council's decision in respect of your freedom of
information request or are otherwise unhappy with how the Council has
