Dear Mr Priestley

I have forwarded the request with an urgent message to the person who
should have responded.

I am no longer the person dealing with Freedom of Information requests
as I've been moved to technical work from admin, therefore the person
you will need to contact in future is Diane Hill.

Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Priestley

When our records have been checked it would appear that you were sent
the response on 14 July 2010. Usually we're very prompt at responding,
therefore I did think it strange if we had not done so within the
allotted time.

I attach another copy of it.

Yours sincerely

Dear Christine Waterhouse,
I find it very strange that I never received the reply dated the 14
July and also that it appears the day after I complained after 20
working days had elapsed.

Yours sincerely,

David Priestley

It only appeared today because you had complained and I investigated
what had happened. That's when the person who wrote it said she'd sent
it to me on 14 July and when I looked on the files, it was there.
Therefore the obvious thing was for me to send you another copy. I can
assure you that the response could not have been done in so short a time
from you sending the email to me this morning and me responding.
