If possible I would like some information on 21 South College
Street, the gap site at the rear of the Festival Theatre. I am
currently studying this site for a college project, and would like
to enquire into the ownserhip of the land, and any planning
proposals for the site.

Dear Miss Webster
I refer to your request for information in respect of the above site.
The land is owned by City of Edinburgh Council and last month a Proposal
of Application Notice 10/00253/PAN was approved to enable consultations to
start on `Extending the Edinburgh Festival Theatre on land to the rear, on
Potterrow/South College Street, to provide rehearsal and performance
space, commercial space, and student residences.
