Brooke Traveller Site II

A Freedom of Information request to South Norfolk District Council by C. P. ELLIOTT

South Norfolk District Council did not have the information requested.

C. P. ELLIOTT

7 November 2008

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please provide copies of any documents that the Council might hold
identifying that Brooke is a suitable location for a traveller
site, and that Brooke is best placed settlement to meet the needs
of travellers in the district.

Please additionally provide copies of all documentation easily to
hand identifying that the current proposals by the SNDC as a
planning authority to identify traveller sites in the District have
been a complete waste of time. The Political Leader of the Council
appears to have identified that there might have been flaws through
the large number of apologies that he has recently issued in the
press.

Yours faithfully,

C. P. ELLIOTT

Dear Mr Elliott

I show below your Freedom of Information request below, replicated for ease of reference:

Please provide copies of any documents that the Council might hold
identifying that Brooke is a suitable location for a traveller
site, and that Brooke is best placed settlement to meet the needs
of travellers in the district.

I repeat my answer as detailed in your previous request, number FOI 08-177: "I have searched the planning applications and also examined the sites currently being considered by South Norfolk Council for possible traveller sites and am unable to locate a site in Brooke. As there does not appear to be such an application, I am unable to supply any of the requested documents as they do not appear to exist."

The second part of your request:

Please additionally provide copies of all documentation easily to
hand identifying that the current proposals by the SNDC as a
planning authority to identify traveller sites in the District have
been a complete waste of time

Under section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am advising you that the Council does not hold the information which you have requested as it does not exist.
