James Moore made this Freedom of Information request to British Broadcasting Corporation
The request was successful.
From: James Moore
19 November 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
Please supply a complete list of any and all revenue streams which
terminate at the offices of the British Broadcasting Corporation,
and the total revenues received over the last calendar year.
By "any and all" I mean to include any revenues from any public or
private corporations domestic or foreign, any income from
Government or Local Authorities foreign or domestic, and any
"donations" or large payments (ie larger than £5,000 Sterling) from
individuals as payment for airspace (for example, how much did
Microsoft pay the BBC for their coverage of the launch of Windows 7
which took up an entire episode of "Click!"?), as well as revenues
from the levy of fines for nonpayment of the TV Licence.
Yours faithfully,
James Moore
