From: John Simpson
5 May 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
Under the Freedom of Information Act which partly applies to the
BBC, is any information available on how the BBC intends to cover
the first British Armed Forces Day which will be held on the 27th
of June 2009.
As the main public service broadcaster in the United Kingdom, has
the Ministry of Defence or government made any contact with the BBC
to promote Armed Forces Day or cover events?
I hope you can help me with some information on this,
Yours faithfully,
John Simpson
