Dear Ms RIses

Thank you for your enquiry attached. The Police Authority does not hold
this information although the Constabulary which is a separate
organisation under the Act may well do so. I can formally transfer your
request to them under the FOI Act if you confirm that you are happy for me
to do so. Alternatively, you may wish to approach them directly. Do
please let me know how you want to proceed?

Dear Sophie

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 0075/11

Your request will now be considered in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. You will receive a response within the statutory
timescale of twenty working days as defined by the Act. In some
circumstances, we may be unable to achieve this deadline. If this is the

opportunity.

If we require any further clarification regarding this request, you will
be notified.

We would advise you that the nature of certain requests may involve
payment of a fee. If this is the case, you will be notified.

Dear Sophie

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 0075/2011

In reply to your request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, received on 7th February 2011 and in particular your fourth
question (in which you ask for offences "4. Sexual Offences Act 2003").

In order for me to progress with this request, please could you provide
this office with further information. Having commenced the research on
your whole request, we have established that this Act has a number of
sections (approximately 21) where offences may have arisen. To search our
records for each and every one of these potentials will take us over the
cost limit established under the Freedom of Information Act. This would
result in us rejecting the whole of your request on the grounds of excess
cost.

It would be helpful if you were able to specify which Sections of the Act
you would like us to retrieve offence information for (as you have in
other parts of the request) as this may bring the request down into a
manageable level. Unfortunately we are unable to suggest which Sections
would be least time consuming.

After receiving your reply, your request will then be considered and you
will receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of
20 working days as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, subject
to the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third
party.

However, if the requested additional information has not been received by
14 days from the date on this email, I will assume you no longer wish to
proceed with this request and will treat it as withdrawn.

Should you have any further enquiries concerning this matter, please
contact the Information Access Office on telephone number 0345 456 456 4
extension 8164.

Yours sincerely

David
