Dear Sir/Madam,
I would be grateful if you could make available any briefings
(whether by email, memo, minutes of meeting or letter) from central
government to PINS on the issue of local decision making/localism.
I would also be grateful if you could provide details of any
internal briefings (whether email, memo, powerpoint presentation or

[Subject only] FW: Freedom of Information request - Briefings on local decision making from CLG to PINS
show quoted sections
From: Neal Jillings

Dear Martin,
Thanks for your response.
Perhaps I neglected to explain my request clearly enough. I am
interested in briefings from CLG to PINS regarding how to take the
emerging concept of localism into account in decisions at inquiries
and examinations. In addition, I am interested in internal
briefings to Inspectors, whether in the form of a memo, PINS Note,
letter, email or powerpoint presentation on the same issue. It is
not something that is on the link that you have directed me to. I
would envisage that the cost of obtaining this information will be
limited in the extreme. My letter does not refer to obtaining all
the information you have on localism and local decision making,
which your response refers to. I wonder if you could reconsider my
request in the context of my further claification please.
Yours sincerely,
Neal Jillings
