Dear Mr Burns
Further to your recent request which we received on 17 Decmeber, please
find our response below.
You requested copies of feasibility studies in support the rejection of
the alternatives to the Faraday Drive Integrated Waste Management Facility
in Bridgnorth. We have processed your request in accordance with the
Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004. Please note that we have
included additional information to that requested, based on the response
to similar request. We thought that you may find this of interest.
Where there are blank sections of a page, these relate to other work
activities not within the scope of your request. You will also see that
there is one section of text, apart from signatures, that has been
'blacked out'. This relates to commercial information which is considered
to be exempt from disclosure under exception 12(5)e of the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004 - Commercial confidentiality. In determining
whether it serves the interests of the public better to withhold or to
disclose the information, we believe that disclosure of information of
this nature is more likely to prejudice the commercial interests of the
Council, or its supplier, than benefit the public by its disclosure.
Due to the size of the file attachments, the response has been split into
four emails.
In accordance with the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 this
correspondence is a part refusal notice to your request. If you are
dissatisfied with the way your request has been handled, you may ask for
an internal review. Please contact The Information Governance Team, Audit
Services, Shropshire Council, Shirehall, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ND or email on
[Shropshire Council request email] if you wish to request a review.
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information
Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9
5AF. You can find more details at www.ico.gov.uk or by telephone on 01625
