2) Out of these complaints, how many were upheld?
3) What were the nature of these complaints?
4) What were the sanctions imposed on this firm from 1 April 2010
until 20 March 2011, if any?
5) I would like to know whether these complaints are related to
Paul Lydon, Fee Earner of Brethertons LLP?
6) Had Paul Lydon been subject to any investigation or sanctions by
SRA in the past?

The SRA is a part of the Law Society but acts independently carrying out
its regulatory functions. The Law Society is not covered by the Freedom of
Information Act (the FOIA) as it is not a designated authority, but has
adopted its own voluntary Code of Practice which closely reflects the

There has been no complaints from members of the public during the above
period of time.
2) Out of these complaints, how many were upheld?

4) What were the sanctions imposed on this firm from 1 April 2010
until 20 March 2011, if any?
I can confirm that there were no sanctions imposed on Brethertons LLP from
01 April 2010 until 20 March 2011.
5) I would like to know whether these complaints are related to
Paul Lydon, Fee Earner of Brethertons LLP?
The SRA does not have a record of any individual by the name of Paul
Lydon.
6) Had Paul Lydon been subject to any investigation or sanctions by
SRA in the past?"
