Dear Mr Elibank,

Thank you for your request for information.

I hope that this information will be helpful in response to your FOI request F10-145 on the Book Antiqua Parliamentary font. The following parliamentary reports provide information on discussions on the format for Bills and Acts:

• First Special Report by the House of Commons Modernisation Committee, Session 1998-99, HC865 — http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa...
• Second Report by the House of Lords Procedure Committee, Session 1998-99, HL52 — http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa...
• Fourth Report by the House of Lords Procedure Committee, Session 1998-99, HL84 — http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa...

I understand that the style and font of Bills and Acts changed in 2001.

No other information is held by the House of Commons.

You may, if dissatisfied with the treatment of your request, ask the House of Commons to conduct an internal review of this decision. Requests for internal review should be addressed to: Freedom of Information Officer, Department of Resources, House of Commons London SW1 OAA or [House of Commons request email] . Please ensure that you specify the nature of your complaint and any arguments or points that you wish to make.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may appeal to the Information Commissioner at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.

Yours sincerely
