Mr Houston made this Freedom of Information request to Royal Mail Group Limited
The request was refused by Royal Mail Group Limited.
From: Mr Houston
7 March 2010
Dear Royal Mail Group,
I wish to be supplied, under the freedom of information act,
details of all bonus payments made to all managers, acting managers
& directors within the RG postal area on the payroll,
from 1 Jan 2006 to Dec 2009.
For the purpose of this request I would like to clarify that a
bonus payment is a payment over and above normal monthly salary
costs and doesn't just relate to payments made under your 'bonus'
code on any payroll systems. It should also include any payments
made under 'basic pay' which could have been used in error for the
payment.
Also for the purpose of this request, I don't wish to see names of
staff (employee1, employee2 will sacrifice) but it should be shown
if the payments were made to Director and when
the payment was made. i.e.
Employee1 Acting manager £2000 May 09
Employee2 DOM/DSM £10,000 April 08
Employee3 Director/CEO £15,000 April 09
I look forward to your reply.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Houston
