Adam Walker made this Freedom of Information request to British Broadcasting Corporation
The request was refused by British Broadcasting Corporation.
From: Adam Walker
16 October 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
Please provide the following information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
At the start of October, 2009 Radio 1 Newsbeat interviewed two
"young BNP members". An article critical of the programme was
published by the Mail on Sunday on October 11 which called for an
investigation.
1. Has the BBC launched an investigation?
2. Are the grounds for the investigation related to statements from
guests asserting:-
(i) The British were an ethnic group;
(ii) Cole was not member of this group;
(iii) Membership of an ethnic group was not determined by place of
birth alone; and
(iv) Ethnic Britons had a right to express a view as to who was and
who was not ethnically British?
Yours faithfully,
Adam Walker
