currently occupying Victoria Park that "the project was also
supported by three departments of Bristol City Council."
I would be grateful if you would disclose the extent of this
support - either financial or in kind.

Dear Mr Woods,
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information Request. I have
liaised with the relevant teams involved and have replied appropriately
below your request.
- I read in the publicity material for the Black Cloud installation
currently occupying Victoria Park that "the project was also supported
by three departments of Bristol City Council." I would be grateful if
you would disclose the extent of this support - either financial or in
kind.
The funding from each department was linked to the following areas of
work that the structure / project was to aid with:
The Parks team contributed £5,000 from the Central Government grant as
part of the Play Pathfinder programme. An event will be programmed
within the structure about BCC's parks development programme and the
improvement of Victoria Park's play area in particular.
The Sustainable City team contributed £5000 - Sustainable City are
working with Situations to develop the event on the 10th October where
issues about climate change / sustainability and other key areas of
their work can be examined.
The Urban Design team contributed £5000 - The project has been
supported for its contribution to the public art activity in the city
and work with artists in the public realm.
