Thank you for your Freedom of Information request dated 5 February 2011, received on 7 February 2011, which was sent to Derbyshire Police Authority (as below). We are dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I note you seek access to the following information:

details of reported bird of prey (raptor) persecution cases proven or otherwise in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

This is to inform you that I cannot identify any specific records/documents held by Derbyshire Police Authority that will satisfy your request based on the details you have provided. However, Derbyshire Constabulary may hold the information you request.

It is possible to transfer your request to the Constabulary however I seek your confirmation that you accept this transfer. If you would like your original request to be forwarded to Derbyshire Constabulary please confirm this instruction in writing, by post or by email and I will send it on your behalf.

If you do require a transfer of request it would be helpful if you could clarify what you mean by the term 'persecution' as interpertation of this word may be subjective.
