Could you please advise as to the following information:
1. Is Southampton City Council, or any of it's employee's
responsible for the facebook page titled: 'Southampton Bin Strike
The Facts' which is located at this web address:

2. If the council is responsible for this facebook page could you
please give details as to the department who is responsible for the
day-to-day running of the page?
3. Could you please provide details of who 'signed off' on the
creation of the page?
4. Could you please provide details of any cost the council has
incurred in the set-up and/or promotion of this page (including
advertising, consultancy etc.)

Freedom of Information Request (Southampton City Council) FOI/1112/612
Thank you for your information request received by the City Council on 19
November 2011 and which is currently being considered.
As required by law, the City Council will respond to you as soon as
possible and no later than 20 working days after the receipt of your
request.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Council is able to charge a
fee where the cost for responding is above the Appropriate Fee Limit

Should such fees be incurred the Council will notify you as soon as is
reasonably practicable to discuss any options available to you.
The Council may also charge you the cost of disbursements, such as
photocopying and postage, where the cost over £5.00. Should such costs
be incurred in providing you with the information you have requested, you
will be notified of any charges as soon as is reasonably practicable.
Any payment requested by the council in response to your request must be
paid in advance of any information being provided to you.
