I reply to your FOI request dated 17^th January 2012.

 

The members of the BID Steering Group were John Wokersien, Town Clerk; Ian
MacQueen, Chairman Chamber of Trade and Commerce; Tony Collins Town
Manager; linda hewitt Business Rep; Simon Lewis Business Rep. 

 

This group was a Client group to manage the initial processes which the
external advisor Lucy Ball was appointed to organize.   This was based on
legal process governed by Statutory Instrument so it was important to
follow through the require steps.  It helped to ensure the necessary
approvals were obtained from the Council when required and to ensure that
all information needed for decision making by the Council was properly
provided.
