Bicycle counts in Colchester

Dear Essex County Council,

I would like to request the following:

1) The locations of any Automatic Cycle Counters in Colchester, and
the data (number of bicycles counted) collected for the past five
years (or for as long as each counter has been operating, if this
is less than five years). Please provide such data in the maximum
available temporal resolution, i.e. counts per hour or per day,
instead of monthly or yearly aggregates.

2) The locations of any manual cycle counts that have taken place
in Colchester in the past five years and the data collected. As
above, please provide the data in the maximum available temporal
resolution.

o Manual cycling counts undertaken in Colchester for the past four years
where available. Each sheet has a description of where the count was
undertaken.
o Automated cycling counts undertaken in Colchester for the past four
years where available.
o Maps showing location plans of the automated counter sites.

Please note that all the automatic count data has been provided in raw
format and as such has not been verified or cleansed to ensure validation.
This is the only data we hold in one hour time spans which is the smallest
time increments we have.

You may reuse all or part of his information free of charge in any format
or medium. You must reuse it accurately and not in a misleading context

Please contact me if you would like further advice or assistance about
your request or your right to access information held by Essex County
Council.

If you are not satisfied with my response to your request, please let me
know. If I am unable to resolve the issue immediately, I will explain our
