Dear Sir or Madam,
This video of Question Time 2nd July 2009 clearly shows Muz Harriet
Harman telling Dimbleby to shut Ian Duncan-Smith up:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sttc3FAPTkc
I believe that this is proof (as if any were needed) of direct
government interference with the BBC.
This interference has now become blatant.
I thought that the BBC is supposed to be independent.
What is BBC policy as regards interviewers/journalists and their
relationship with government officials?
What mechanisms does the BBC have in place to ensure that its
employees are not influenced by government officials?
What disciplinary action will be taken against Mr Dimbleby for
allowing himself to be so obviously influenced by Muz Harman?
Yours faithfully,
Victoria Moore.
