Dear Katya Coldwell,
I used the terms "agents" and "parties" to include organisations
registered whom may not be landlords themselves for example I
understand that Letting Agents are able to join? Was not sure if it
also included businesses/service providers (i.e. other parties).
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Oscar
I am writing in response to your request for information in regards to "Best BD Homes Accreditation List" received on 07/01/11.
Thank you for clarifying that by “agents” and “parties” you mean “organisations registered who may not be landlords themselves”.
The response to your query has been provided by Margaret Pearson, Environmental Health Officer/Service Improvement Officer, Department of Regeneration and Culture.
Please be advised that the Best BD Homes Accreditation scheme accredited the properties, not landlords. Please find attached the list of accredited properties together with the names of registered landlords and their addresses where the landlord is an organisation rather than an individual.
Please also note that the scheme has been under review for at least three years due to funding issues. The majority of the properties were accredited between 2002 & 2004 and the information is therefore likely to be outdated. In the current climate there is no likelihood of the scheme being expanded or further resourced.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can also contact Margaret Pearson direct: [email address], tel 01274 431179.
If you are not satisfied with this response, you may ask for an internal review by contacting the FOI Officer, Bradford MDC, Floor 7, City Exchange, Bradford, BD1 5SG or by email on [email address]
If you are still not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review you have the right of appeal to the Information Commissioner who can be contacted at:
Information Commissioner’s Office
Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow
Cheshire, SK9 5AF
