Dear Comhairle nan Eilean Siar,
The two yachts moored in Berneray Harbour that are being lived
aboard as permanent home bases for the past many years, are the
owners liable to pay council tax to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar since
they use services etc.. and if they do what band of council tax do
they pay.
Also if they are not liable to pay council tax what is the reason
for this?

I write to acknowledge receipt of your request for information and note
